This is an unofficial community wiki for Asciilands, not a site run by the developer Qaz. Guides are checked against the client interface and the official FAQ. When a figure is absent from those sources, the page says so. Send corrections as a repository issue. This wiki has no email address.

What “unofficial” means

Qaz develops Asciilands. The credits page says the game is independent, that the renderer comes from Asciicker by gumix / msokalski under the MIT license, and that the project is not endorsed by Asciicker’s authors. This wiki is a third thing: community notes. It is not the developer, not Asciicker, and not the official site.

How a page is checked

A guide is compared with the play client and with the official FAQ. The pass recorded in the header used script ab7ac3d26ac3 on 2026-10-23, including field-guide.js and farming.js. The title screen that day showed The Tempered Update. The Frontier list was read the day before and is kept as its own page.

Player-facing text in the game is supposed to be human-written. These notes try to quote the client or the FAQ instead of filling gaps.

What stays blank

Recipes, engraving steps, anvil steps, individual hoe names, supporter-queue perks, and a region catalog are not in this version. If a page says a number, it is attributed to Help or the FAQ. If those sources do not state it, the page says it is not published here.

There is no item database yet. An empty record is not given a URL.

Corrections

When this site has a public repository, open an issue there and name the page, the sentence, and what the client or the official FAQ shows. Do not email this wiki. There is no address to invent. Game bugs belong in the official Discord, which the FAQ points at, not in this site’s notes.

Screenshots and game files

Take your own screenshots if you need to show a screen. Do not extract client art, glyphs, or audio for this wiki. This version uses no game images. Small ASCII marks in the margin are drawn for the site.
